I had 2 photoshoots for my double page spread; on the first photo shoot I used a double page spread from NME as my inspiration and took the images of a male model in a forest, I decided to experiment using indirect address in these pictures but they did not work and so I chose to retake the images. When I re-took the pictures, I used another DPS as inspiration, still from NME. This time, I took the image in a studio using the lighting system and DSLR camera; I used the same male model but this time he was wearing sunglasses, vans, a shirt and Harrington jacket - similar to the model on my inspiration DPS.  The images I took in this photoshoot looked a lot more professional and convincing as images for a professional magazine and so I chose to use these; the use of the sunglasses made the image more interesting and set it apart from other images in my music magazine of which do not use props.
