Double Page Spread Pictures

I had my first photoshoot using my male model for my front cover. I took the images with a forest background and my model was wearing a denim jacket with a shirt and black jeans. I took a mixture of medium shots and long shots and when I put them in conjunction with my writing and masthead, I found that the images didn't look quite right. I asked for other people's opinons and they agreed that I needed a more bold and eye-catching image and that I should choose just one double page spread for my inspiration rather than combining two. Consequently, I am now going to use the Mark Ronson DPS as my inspiration and will take pictures of the same model with a white background in the studio, this time he will be sitting down and pointing upwards toward his name as the masthead in order to make his body language more exciting and interesting. I will also have him wearing smarter, black clothes or maybe a shirt and he will be wearing sunglasses like the artist on my inspiration DPS.
