I have decided to change the positioning of the components of the contents page of my magazine in order for it to be more conventional and similar to the contents page of the NME magazine that I am using for my inspiration. I originally had the picture on the right hand side of the page and the list of contents on the left hand side as I thought it would be more aesthetically pleasing as images stand out more to the eye when they are on the right hand side of the page. However, having constructed it in this way, I decided that having the writing on the right hand side of the page and the writing on the left would fit better as when a reader is flicking through my magazine when contemplating whether or not to purchase it, they will see the list of the contents which will draw them into my magazine more as they will clearly be able to see what features are included in my magazine.
